How do I order my website? |
|
Browse our many sites and choose the one you want. You can view the sites in a separate window by clicking on them. Then click on the Order button, fill out the required information and pay the One-time set-up and customization fee either by credit card or PayPal. |

|
We will email you and provide you with clear, easy-to-follow instructions on how to send us your images and select your domain name. |

What's a domain name? |
|
Your domain name will be the web address of your site i.e., www.yourdomain.com (Edge Sports Sites' domain name is www.edgesportssites.com). You don't have to choose a .com domain name, there are other options available (.net, .info, .co.uk, .eu, .us, .org, .info. or .biz), however, .com domain names are recognized worldwide and should be considered. Click on the Domain Name Search icon on the left hand side of our site and try searching for your domain name. |

Do I need to buy my own domain name? |

No, you just need to choose one that is available and we'll order it when we set-up and customize your site. |

What if I register a domain name myself or already have a domain name that I would like to use? |

Just let us know and we will give you instructions on how to point your domain to your new website. |

Who owns the registration on my new domain name? |
|
If we order your domain name, we will initially register it in our name. Should you decide to cancel your website, we will transfer the domain name to you. |

Will I get my own email address? |
|
Yes, if we register your chosen domain name, we'll set-up an email address for you like yourname@yourdomainname.com. This is all included in the set-up and customization process. |

Do I need to edit my photos before I send them to you? |
|
No, our designers will take care of that for you. We will compress, resize, crop, enhance and cutout your images as required. |

What happens after I have provided my content and selected my domain name? |
|
We will customize your chosen site and purchase your selected domain name (if available). Once we have completed the set-up and customization process we will email you so you can view your site and provide you with a link so you can set-up payment of your Monthly Fee. Once we receive your first monthly payment, we will launch your website with your domain name. |

Am I given the files for my website? |

No. Your website will be leased from us. We host and manage your site for you as a part of the Monthly Fee. |

What is hosting? |
|
Every website needs to be hosted on a web server. Think of a server as a PC and the website files as a computer game - you have to load the game onto your PC to play it - your PC "hosts" the game. Hosting is included in the Monthly Fee. |

Can I edit my own text? |
|
Yes, except button and heading text. Using our easy-to-use browser-based text editor, you can edit the body text on all your pages whenever you want and as many times as you want. |

How do I use the browser-based text editor? |
|
It's really easy. Click on the Client Text Editor icon to the left hand side of our site and a login box will appear. Login using your username and password (we'll give you these) and select which page you want to edit. You can edit the text as you would on any word processor and then be sure to click on the "edit" button, which automatically uploads the changes to your site. Close the editor and open your site in a new browser to see the changes you have made. |

Can I change the photos on my site? |
|
Up to 1/2 hr per month of updates to your gallery photos are included in the Monthly Fee. Simply email us your new photos and we'll take care of it for you. Changes to the other photos, such as any cut-out or animated images, can be quoted seperately by us. |

What happens if I cancel my Monthly Fee? |
|
We will contact you to see if you really want to cancel your site. Once the last Monthly Fee has expired, we will remove your site from the host server (i.e., your website will no longer be on the web). We will store the website files for one year. Should you wish to reactivate your site within one year, you will be required to pay an $80 USD reactivation fee and provide certain information. |
